UPSC CSE 2014
Ira Singhal, despite a spinal-related disorder, topped the 2014 exams with 1082 marks and was assigned to the AGMUT cadre, later serving in Kerala. Following her were Renu Raj and Nidhi Gupta, who scored 1056 and 1025 respectively, and are posted in Kerala and Haryana.
UPSC CSE 2015
Tina Dabi emerged as the top scorer in her first attempt with 1063 marks, opting for a post in Rajasthan. Athar Aamir, with 1018 marks, became the district magistrate in Kashmir’s Kulgam, while Jasmeet Singh Sandhu, scoring 1014, also chose Rajasthan.
UPSC CSE 2016
Nandini KR claimed the top spot with 1120 marks and is posted in Karnataka. Anmol Sher Singh Bedi, the runner-up, joined the Indian Foreign Service, contributing to international diplomacy, and Gopalkrishna Ronakini, with 1102 marks, is serving in Andhra Pradesh.
UPSC CSE 2017
After five attempts, Anudeep Durishetty topped with 1126 marks and was first posted in Manipur before transferring to Bihar. Anu Kumari and Sachin Gupta followed closely with 1124 and 1122 marks, posted in Bihar and Uttarakhand respectively.
UPSC CSE 2018
Kanishak Kataria scored the highest in the year with 1121 marks and is currently serving in Rajasthan. He was followed by Akshat Jain and Junaid Ahmad, scoring 1080 and 1077 respectively, and are serving in Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.
UPSC CSE 2019
Pradeep Singh, from a Haryana farm community, topped with 1072 marks and chose his home cadre. Jatin Kishore and Pratibha Sharma scored 1063 and 1062 respectively, with Kishore opting for AGMUT and Sharma serving in Rajasthan.
UPSC CSE 2020
Shubham Gupta led the year with 1072 marks, serving in Bihar. Jagrati Awasthi and Ankita Jain, who scored 1052 and 1051 marks respectively, are both positioned in Uttar Pradesh.
UPSC CSE 2021
Women topped the results again with Shruti Sharma scoring 1105 marks and posted in Uttar Pradesh. Ankita Agarwal and Gamini Singla followed with 1050 and 1045 marks, stationed in West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh, respectively.
UPSC CSE 2022
Continuing the pattern of female dominance, Ishita Kishore topped with 1094 marks in Uttar Pradesh. Garima Lohia and Uma Harathin, scoring 1063 and 1060 respectively, serve in Bihar and Telangana.
