Just five days before the first phase of the Lok Sabha elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) introduced its election manifesto on the morning of April 14 at the party headquarters in Delhi. – The Ayushman Bharat Yojana will extend coverage to individuals aged 70 and above.
– Transgender individuals will be included under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, with an expansion of Garima Grahas and the issuance of national identity cards for recognition.
2. Economic Initiatives
– The loan cap under the Mudra scheme will be increased to 20 lakh rupees.
– Simplification of state-level regulations to ease the burden on small traders and MSMEs.
– Introduction of the Anusandhan Fund with an investment of 1 lakh crore rupees to boost scientific research.
– Establishment of 740 Eklavya Model Residential Schools to prioritize the education of tribal children.
– Implementation of the PM Suraj Portal to provide accessible credit facilities.
3. Infrastructure and Development
– Advancements in railway services including reducing waiting lists and extending bullet train projects to the Northeast.
